Christian Kazimierz
Kazimierz (at present the part of Krakow), established in 1335 by king Kazimierz the Great, usually is considered to have been a Jewish town. In fact, Jews used to live in one district in Kazimierz, the rest of its area was inhabited by the Catholics.
During our walk we will have a chance to get to know the interesting plans of its founder, the history of the city - created by Jews and Catholics and we will visit the most beautiful monuments of Gothic and Baroque architecture in Krakow.
We will see:
- 1.Wolnica Square with the Town Hall.
- 2.The parish church of Corpus Christi.
- 3.The Gothic St. Catherine`s church with the monastery of the Augustinian Convent.
- 4.Baroque church of St. Stanislaus with the crypt, where are burried Polish artists.
- 5.Esterka`s House.
- 6.Baroque church of the Merciful Brothers` Order.
